Install

Released versions are published at cellmobs/bnw-releases and install with one command. The installer downloads the binary for this machine, checks it against the published checksums, and offers to run bnw setup:

brew install cellmobs/bnw/bnw                                                                   # Homebrew

macOS builds are signed and notarized; Linux builds are fully static. Windows builds, with install.ps1, Scoop, and winget, will follow. packaging/README.md explains how releases are built, signed, and published.

To build from source, run this from the repository root:

cargo build --release
cargo test --workspace
cargo clippy --workspace --all-targets -- -D warnings

The release binary is written to target/release/bnw. Install it into Cargo’s binary directory with:

cargo install --path apps/bnw-cli

After source changes, reinstall with:

cargo install --force --path apps/bnw-cli
